Taken as a special project to create the genuine look of the original Ducati 750 GT of the mid 70's, the body panels of a brand new Sport Classics GT were resprayed using a special blend of paints to create a perfect match for the original candy bronze finish of the old bikes. This required metallic basecoats followed by a topcoat of translucent orange to get the correct tone. New decals were created for the sidecovers to better match the side badges of old as well. The pinstripes were applied the old fashioned way, by hand with a brush. One photo showing the color match against a new old stock front fender form an original 1973/74 model.
Decal created to look more akin to the original sidecover badge of the earlier model 750's.
